Tune in November 30 to December 1, 2022
The 11th annual 36 Hours for Kids Radiothon took place on November 30 and December 1, 2022. This year's live broadcast raised over $287,000 to support the Children's Tower – opening April 30, 2023. Stay tuned for the 36 Hours for Kids Radiothon 2023 dates.
The 36 Hours For Kids Radiothon is a 2-day live fundraising broadcast to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. This year, we are raising funds to support construction of the Wonder Tower, CHoR's new home for inpatient and emergency care.
Throughout the event there will be special matching hours thanks to our generous sponsors. Be sure to tune in so you don't miss your chance to double the impact of your gift to support the Wonder Tower.
Listen to any one of our partner stations and hear the amazing stories of hope and healing shared by area families who have received wonderful care at CHoR.

The Wonder Tower
Set to open in early 2023, the 500,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art inpatient facility was thoughtfully designed with the understanding that children see the world differently. Featuring new operating rooms, imaging capacity, emergency department space, family amenities, and CHoR’s extraordinary team of caregivers, we’re fostering a life-changing, child-centered community dedicated to providing the special care children need, in a safe space crafted just for them.
